Issue: Microphone does not work after headset connected to 3.5mm jack

  1. Check Dell Optimizer service is running
  2. If not, then start the service
  3. If this is still not working, try to install Waves Maxx Audio Tool
  4. Enable the prompt for 3.5mm jack connected
  5. Plug in the 3.5mm headset
  6. Select correct type of headset
  7. Test it
  8. Done.
