here is a quick guide on how to fix your issue of your personal WordPress page not showing up on Google search.
- Install the Yoast SEO plugin on your WordPress site. You can do this by navigating to your WordPress dashboard, clicking on “Plugins” on the left-hand menu, and then clicking “Add New”. Search for “Yoast SEO”, and then click “Install” and “Activate” to add the plugin to your site.
- Once you’ve installed Yoast SEO, navigate to the “SEO” section of your dashboard and click on “General.” Ensure that the “Search Engine Visibility” option is unchecked. If it’s checked, Google will be blocked from indexing your site.
- Next, generate a sitemap for your site. You can use the Yoast SEO plugin to do this. Navigate to the “SEO” section of your dashboard, click on “General,” and then click on the “Features” tab. Scroll to the “XML Sitemaps” option and enable it.
- Once you’ve enabled XML Sitemaps, click the “?” mark next to the “XML Sitemaps” option to view your sitemap. You can copy this link and use it to submit your sitemap to Google Search Console.
- Submit your sitemap to Google Search Console. Log in to your Search Console account and navigate to the “Sitemaps” section under “Index” on the left-hand menu. Enter the URL of your sitemap into the field provided and click “Submit.”
- Wait for a few days for Google to crawl and index your site. After a few days, your site should start appearing in Google search results. You can monitor your site’s performance in search results using the Google Search Console dashboard.
